The story of ATTL company

───

1920

The Beginning of the Company

Attl has been manufacturing its products since the beginning of the last century. The roots of the company date back to 1920, when the then 27 year old mechanical locksmith Alois Attl opened his own locksmith workshop. The company gradually expanded and, from 1932 onwards, began exporting its products abroad.

1993

Establishment of the Private Company

Following the political changes, the company was returned to its original owners as part of the restitution process on 1 January 1993. This led to the establishment of Attl a spol. s.r.o. Továrna na stroje. At that time, the company was led by Ing. Jan Attl, representing the third generation of the family. The management was later taken over by his son and long-standing business partner, Ing. Tomáš Attl. The company therefore remains a family-owned business to this day.

2011

Start of Steel Hall Production

In 2011, we acquired our first production line for a self-supporting steel profile, which still forms the basis of our steel building system today. Production started in Bzenec, in a smaller hall shared with the company’s other product lines.

2021

New Production Hall in Říčany

As the number of orders continued to grow, the original production facilities in Bzenec were no longer sufficient. In 2021, the production line was therefore relocated to Říčany near Prague, where a new arched hall and dedicated production facilities were built specifically for the manufacture of our steel halls.

2025

Establishment of ATTL Hall Factory

In 2025, the independent company ATTL Hall Factory s.r.o. was established, building on the long-standing history and manufacturing experience of Attl a spol. s.r.o. Továrna na stroje. Its activities are now fully focused on self-supporting arched steel halls – from development and manufacturing to delivery to customers. The establishment of the new company therefore represents another step in the further development and specialization of this product.
